It's not officially fall until you visit a pumpkin patch! We took Jack to "Little Farmer", the local pumpkin patch that everybody told us to go to. It was about a 30 minute drive away, but it was a really pretty drive around Lake Winnebago looking at fall colors so it was worth it.
The day was a little cold, but sunny. There was a petting zoo, corn maze, and a field of pumpkins to select from. We also enjoyed all the typical fall "pumpkin patch" foods-- hot chocolate, apple cider, delicious apple cider muffins, and a caramel apple. We were stuffed, but it was all so good! We went home with a pumpkin for each member of our family, some honeycrisp apples, and more of the fresh baked muffins to enjoy the rest of the week.
