2012 in Review

2012 was quite an eventful year for us!

January: Jack is baptized into the Catholic church

February: Jack's first food (spinach and carrots)

First Valentine's Day

March: James turns 29

April:  House hunting a success-- we are under contract for our first home!

Jack meets Great- Grandma and Great-Grandpa Kane

Okay... here's where things got crazy for a little while...

May 31st: We close on our house!

June 2nd: My sister Amy gets married

June 8th: I graduate residency

June 9th: We leave Des Moines, our home for the last 7 years

After settling into our new house for a few weeks, James and I went to Riveria Maya for a week of relaxation and to celebrate graduation, my birthday, and our 6th anniversary! 

Before dinner on my 29th birthday

July 7th:  We celebrate 6 years of marriage and find out we are expecting Baby Kane #2!

July 15th: James finishes his first Half Ironman

August 3rd:  Jack turns one! 

Jack takes his first steps on his first birthday

August 13th: I start work at my new job

September: First ultrasound of Baby Kane #2!

October: Jack is a lion for Halloween

James runs the St. Louis Rock n Roll Marathon

November: We host Thanksgiving in our new home for both sides of our family

December: First Christmas in our new home! 

2012 was quite a year and we are thankful for all the memories!  We are looking forward to 2013... hopefully starting with a little downtime before Baby Kane makes his or her arrival in March!
