We got home today from a long weekend spent back in Barrington with our families to celebrate Christmas. Jack's first! He is at the cutest age: he smiles and babbles and is just so cute at all times :) Jack was a great traveler, sleeping the entire 5 hour car trips back and forth. His schedule was totally thrown off as we were celebrating with different families and at a different location almost every, but he handled it well. We are so lucky he is such an easy going baby!
We obviously had so much to be thankful for this Christmas. This Christmas was so special because it was our first as a family of three. James and I could not be happier that we have this precious baby in our lives. We are also so blessed to have families on both sides that are happy and healthy. And we are so lucky that our families live so close-- our parents live 3 doors down from each other! This made seeing everyone really easy-- we'd just walk back and forth between houses!
Last year we were excited to be announcing to our families that we were pregnant with Jack. Next year we'll be celebrating our first Christmas in our first home in Wisconsin. Time is flying by, but we are trying to pause and enjoy every precious moment. Merry Christmas!
